Nano Ionic Facial Steamer Recall

Details of Recall:

White plastic facial steamer with chrome power switch facia. Supplied in white cardboard packaging with a picture of the product on the front.

Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the requirements for class II construction had not been met. The wiring was in contact with the on-off switch casing. Whilst this casing was plastic it had been covered in a conductive chrome coating. Thus, there were live parts separated from accessible conductive parts only by basic insulation. The product is also not marked with required markings. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
